Meet Helen

For many of my younger years I felt overwhelmed and over stretched, like I just couldn’t ‘do life’ as well as everyone else. 

I love being a Mum but it doesn’t always come naturally to me. And when my girls were little I remember looking around at my Mum mates and wondering how they did it all.

Over time I realised that balance looks different to everyone, and I just hadn’t found mine yet.

I tried to control things so tightly that I missed the fun, the laughter and the unexpected. Some might call me a control freak, but I like to think I was simply a work in progress.

We all know how ‘we should’ look after our bodies but putting it into practice in a busy, noisy and often messy life can be hard.

I tried it all… fad diets, HIIT workouts, the 5am club and too many holistic treatments to count. But over time I realised that it’s the small moments that make all the difference, the daily habits we form to create the life we really crave.

That’s why I love having systems and framework in my life and especially in my kitchen. It’s taken a long time for me to embrace these (as I’m a free spirit) but I see and feel the difference not just for me, but my family too.
