Walking a half ultra

If you had told me that I’d walk a half ultra, not once, but twice a few years ago I would have laughed in your face! You see I’ve never really liked exercise, in fact I hated it! I was always last on school sports day, no one ever wanted me in their team at break time and if I could get out of exercise I’d find a way.

So you might ask why I took part in the Race to the Stones ultra event!

Join me in this video to hear my story about why I sign up. Plus I’m going to share three important life lessons from the 2021 event.

You see, I think of walking as my therapy, after years of counselling I am all talked out so I love to walk to consider my problems and find solutions. I’m away from my phone, my family and everyone else’s agenda.

The 2021 Race to the Stones event was a mega counselling session and I uncovered three life lessons that I wanted to share with you. It was tough, so tough that I could have cried. I know that this will resonate with these lessons and hopefully help you see where you are stuck.
